Food Network's popular BBQ series has a new season. However, the judges remain the same. Brooke Williamson and Rodney Scott will once more be judging this year's competition. Erica Blaire Roby

A recent appearance on the Food Network show Blue Smoke Grill shows that Roby has more than a background in cooking than most people might think. She has worked under some of the most prominent chefs in the industry and was awarded a $7500 Preserve the Pit fellowship grant. Her skills as a barbecue chef were tested against top chefs across the country. Roby endured the pain despite a cut finger.

A psychology graduate, Roby has worked as a wine expert and as a criminal defense attorney. Before competing on Food Network she spent time as a sommelier pairing wines with food. This gave her the chance of regaining her passion for cooking. Roby's father owned a barbecue joint, so her love for the grill came naturally.

Roby took up cooking barbecue after her first child, despite her legal career. Roby was inspired by her father’s dream to open a barbecue restaurant. Roby enrolled in the celebrity pitmaster Harry Soo's barbecuing cooking course in 2018. In the end, Roby became a certified pitmaster. She was soon working in a BBQ restaurant.


Her love of barbecue began as a hobby. But, she soon became obsessed with barbecue. In the beginning, she cooked on her back patio. She then went on to compete at barbecue competitions all across the country, where she cooked alongside some of the most renowned pit masters in America. She has also opened several pop ups in Dayton and Ohio. She plans to open a food truck.

Team Brawl vs. Team Anne

Two of the best chefs in the world will team up to challenge each other for the title of ultimate griller in the third season of Food Network's BBQ Team Brawl. Anne Burrell will battle Jet Tila, Bobby Flay, and Team Anne in a dinner-party brawl. Matt Roth, a favorite of "BBQ Brawl", returns to the Austin-based Smokin Beauty along with his wife Thao.

Ann gave instructions to the contestants in the first episode Food Network BBQ Team Brawl. Jet and Team Bobby let them decide what they would make. The result was that Team Bobby lost his ceviche, and Jet dropped some meat. This time, Team Anne has a huge advantage. Anne even reached for an ingredient while Team Bobby was struggling to breathe.

The new season for BBQ Team Brawl is filled with familiar faces as in all Food Network competitions. Lee Ann Whippen is the Team Anne judge. She has been competing in barbecuing for 23 year. As well as being the managing partner at Deviled Pig Tampa, she is also a judge for Kansas City Barbecue Society. She has won multiple state and world barbecue championships and has starred on TV shows like BBQ Pitmasters and Throwdown with Bobby Flay.


Flay and Symon were also in a battle for the best barbecue sandwich. Lee Ann chose to make a sandwich the traditional way, while Susie chose a more exotic approach. Although the judges liked her pork belly mi, they thought it was too thick. Team Anne's burger had great flavor and was juicy. It came on a sturdy bun.

"Bobby Flay on Food Network BBQ" is a high-impact cooking show that follows the quintessential grill master. Bobby Flay demonstrates his bbq expertise by utilizing flavor-packed ingredients from around the globe. He transforms his backyard into a barbecue mecca, using the grilling tools he loves most. Bobby Flay is a master griller in every episode.

After starting Mesa Grill in 1991, Bobby Flay was recognized as one of America's top chefs. He received the James Beard Foundation Rising Star Chef Award 1992. Other notable restaurant openings include Bolo, Bar Americain and Bobby's Burger Palace. Bobby Flay has also published 14 cookbooks and started a podcast along with his daughter Sophie. A new set of contenders will arrive at Ranch in the premiere episode. Each team will bring a unique skewer. In the next episodes, the teams will compete in a team brawl. The Master of Cue winner will be declared the official BBQ expert for Food Network's digital platforms. New episodes of the show will debut on June 14.


Food Network will air the new season of "BBQ Brawl," which will be shown at 9 p.m. Eastern Time (EDT) on September 9.
